If we profess to be Christians, this means we have placed our trust and faith in Jesus and His atoning sacrifice for our sins. If this is indeed the case, then it means that as a pledge, God our Father has blessed us with the Holy Spirit who dwells within us. If the Holy Spirit is in us, then we must bear the fruit of the Spirit, which Galatians 5:22-23 lists as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
If we live by the leading and guiding of the Spirit, not only are we being transformed within, the fruit of the Spirit should be visible externally as well in the way we live our lives and love others.
Dear Christian, if you live by the Spirit, is the fruit of the Spirit evident in your life?
