To some, Christmas is all about putting up Christmas trees, giving and receiving gifts, holidays, parties and shopping, and holds no significance beyond that.
For those of us who have placed our trust and faith in Jesus, Christmas means so much more. It’s the time we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Son of God, the Word, became flesh like us and lived amongst us. Jesus taught us all that we need to know to live a meaningful and purposeful life, and by doing on the cross for our sins, He made the way for us to become children of God. Because of Jesus, we have the Spirit of Christ in us, and we can shine His grace and truth and bring joy to the world!
