There are those who argue that the world is becoming a better place progressively. They make this claim based on positive happenings in select areas of life that matter to them personally. For example, those who subscribe to gender ideology or consider abortion as healthcare, will consider laws supporting these matters as progress.
The God of the Bible has a different take on things. According to God, things are not getting better but worse. Insisting there are many genders or labelling abortion as women’s reproductive rights isn’t progress, it’s sin and rebellion against God. As the end draws near, we Christians need the Spirit to help us have self-control, pray without ceasing and love one another like Christ does, so that we will sin less and be a faithful witness for Jesus.
