In 2024, approximately 362,453 babies are born each day worldwide, which equals to about 4 births per second. Though there are exceptions sadly, in the vast majority of instances, the arrival of a baby is a joyous event. Parents are filled with hopes and dreams for their child, wondering what their childhood will be like and what they will be when they grow up. To every parent, their baby is the most special in the world!
In the Bible, an angel tells Joseph that Mary, his betrothed, is miraculously pregnant and will give birth to Jesus, the Son of God, who will save people from their sins. Everything about this situation was incredibly unbelievable. To say that this baby was special, is an understatement. Jesus had a humble beginning, and began His short yet powerful ministry by preaching forgiveness of sins to those who believe in Him. Jesus would eventually be crucified for our sins, and rise victoriously on the third day. Thanks to Jesus, all who believe in Him, can become right with God!
