It is going to cost you greatly to follow Jesus. You must be willing to deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Him.
To deny self is to put the will of God and what He desires, before our own will and desires.
Each of us have our own cross to carry. It could be illness, failed relationships, terrible jobs, financial struggles. You get the picture.
To follow Jesus is to go wherever He leads, even if it’s a place you don’t want to go.
If you want to truly be a disciple of Jesus, you will have to live your life His Way, let His Spirit lead you, and completely surrender your life to God.
