Today is November 6th, but in the United States, it is November 5th, and Donald Trump has defeated Kamala Harris to become the 47th President of the United States. What has this got to do with peace? For Democrats and those who were vehemently opposed to a Trump victory, this outcome is the worst case scenario. Given that they’ve all called Trump “fascist”, “Hitler”, “Dictator” and so on, thanks to this result, it’s safe to say that they have no peace. Their peace was dependent on them getting the outcome they desired. For most people, their peace is dependent on circumstances. Jesus offers peace that cannot be found anywhere else, peace that is found only in Him and isn’t circumstantial. When Jesus died for our sins, He gave us an opportunity to make peace with God, as well as enjoy the peace of God here on earth! Dear Christian, do you have the peace that is in Christ alone?
