Malachi 3:10

We should give to the LORD to bless the LORD, not so that He can bless us. We shouldn’t give to the LORD begrudgingly, because the LORD loves cheerful givers. When we tithe, we’re giving to the LORD, to His church, so that those who are doing Kingdom work can be paid the wages due to them, and resources can be poured into mission work. I must admit there have been times when I tithe, I’ve worried whether I’ll have enough for myself, but He always met all our needs, pouring out blessings as He’s promised. When we give to the LORD by faith and in love, we can trust Him to look after us.
