Storms are a common occurrence in life, appearing in many forms: health issues, job struggles, relationship challenges and more. People try to avoid these storms but cannot escape them. Those who are in these storms, do whatever they can to cope, and while some efforts offer temporary reprieve, permanent escape is humanly impossible because when one storm ends, another one begins, and the vicious cycle continues to the end.
Jesus is the ONLY One who can calm any storm we face. Jesus was able to effortlessly calm every storm, by merely commanding them to stop. Jesus isn’t a storm chaser; He is the storm stopper! Does Jesus still every storm? No, because some storms are meant to refine our faith and mature us as a person. Jesus also offers us His peace, no matter what storm we are caught up in.
