Most people turn to a someone or something when they’re in trouble. They expect their someone or something to bring them some relief. Reality is that the someone or something people rely on, is far from perfect and not entirely reliable. Neither people not things are perfect and they certainly don’t last forever.
For those of us who have placed our trust and faith in Jesus, because of Him, we have 24/7 access to God our Father, who we can turn to anytime, especially when we are feeling unsafe. Only those who are righteous in Christ can take refuge with God our Father, who is altogether unchanging, loving and trustworthy. Our bodies can be harmed but the Holy Spirit keeps our heart, mind and soul secure in Christ!
Dear Christian, are you grateful for Jesus because of whom we can be safe with God our Father?
