Psalms 133:1

Unity in Christ through the Spirit should be one of the defining characteristics of Christians. Such unity is only possible if the Holy Spirit is actively at work, both in the individual, as well as the body of believers (His church). Jesus has taught us that we are all part of one body in Christ, that we cannot do anything apart from Him, and that each of us have a part to play in the whole body. Divisions amongst Christians and in the church exists because people are being led by their flesh, instead of the Holy Spirit, and instead of loving one another like Jesus loves His church, we fight with one another. Dear Christian, are you allowing the Holy Spirit to help you love other Christians and be united with them in Christ?
